Rebecca Norcini of Cypress Inducted into Alpha Chi Honor Society

Rebecca Norcini of Cypress has been inducted into the Alpha Chi national collegiate honor society.

Membership in Alpha Chi is open to juniors and seniors who are in the top 10 percent of their class.

Norcini is a student at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Alpha Chi grew out of a Scholarship Society that was organized at Southwestern in 1915. It was formally founded on Feb. 22, 1922. There are now approximately 300 Alpha Chi chapters across the country.

Southwestern University is a selective, nationally recognized undergraduate liberal arts college with an enrollment of 1,400 students. It is the oldest institution of higher learning in Texas. For more information on Southwestern, visit www.southwestern.edu.
